As a Trinity Rock & Pop exam venue, they provide access to private recording studios and online Zoom lessons for greater flexibility. Their tutors also use the Estill Voice Training model to build control while keeping your vocal cords healthy.

When we sat in on a private session here, the coach quickly helped the student release jaw tension using simple breathing drills. The coach even shared practical techniques to help students manage stage fright and feel more confident before performances.

However, because they teach multiple instruments, singing is only one part of their broader class menu, and they close on Sundays.

Pros

  • Purpose-built private recording studios
  • Accredited Trinity Rock and Pop exam venue
  • Uses Estill Voice Training techniques
  • Includes stage fright and vocal health coaching

Cons

  • Multi-instrument facility rather than vocal-only

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my vocal lessons

Goldie holds me accountable which I love and I’ve recorded music that we’ve worked on in my lessons which is receiving positive feedback. I feel supported by Goldie, Gary, Stephen, Simren and the whole team and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my vocal lessons; they’re hands down the best in the biz!!! Also check out their studio space Soundworks too, would highly recommend!

Caused me to improve so much

I’ve been having classical singing lessons with Alexandra for almost a year now and she’s caused me to improve so much!! Her lessons are so enjoyable and she teaches other styles, not just classical. Before I became her student I couldn’t sing high notes without my voice cracking and the notes sounding strained. Now my voice never cracks and I can hit them with a nice sound confidently, clearly and powerfully!

Pushes you to reach your full potential

I had Emily as a singing teacher for 6 years and she was just fab. She is so lovely and encouraging and pushes you to reach your full potential, she introduced me to different genres of singing I didn’t know were accessible to me when I first started (I was only singing male pop songs!). Her vocal knowledge is also incredible and it’s allowed me to have a much deeper understanding of how singing works. I would 100% recommend Emily to anyone interested in singing at any level!

Has inspired me to go into music and performing in the future

I have gone from never “properly” singing to studying it at University!! I’ve learnt so much from Emily and the rest of the teachers and continue to learn things each lesson. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to have these lessons and will continue them as long as I am able! Emily has inspired me to go into music and performing in the future and continue it as a profession.

Has helped my confidence and range grow

I love having singing lessons with Liz here, she’s a fantastic teacher who has helped my confidence and range grow, and has helped me feel like a Disney princess (I’m nearly at the point where small woodland creatures will come and tidy for me)! I have been able to sing in front of people for the first time in years and am looking forward to doing so again.

Fully recommend singing lessons with Liz

Liz is so technically knowledgable and makes everything so clear to understand and follow. And she’s just a lovely person too, she makes you feel so comfortable and I always leave feeling much lighter! Fully recommend singing lessons with Liz 🙂

Amazing source of support

I was never what you’d call a “good singer,” but I use my voice for my work as a Shamanic Healer, so I wanted to gain more confidence and skill with it. That’s when I found Rebecca. Not only is she incredibly fun and kind, but she’s also been an amazing source of support. She holds a very safe and nonjudgmental space during her lessons, which has allowed me to feel truly comfortable.

A wonderful singing teacher

A wonderful singing teacher who brings out the best in her students, no matter their starting point. I came to her with no confidence (or experience) and a lot of nerves, and thanks to her patience, empathy, and constant encouragement, I’ve made real progress and love singing now.
